UVZone® is designed to become a defined step in the normal personnel-entry process. The station activates automatically and treats both shoe soles during one timed cycle.

Step Onto UVZone®
Position both feet on the designated treatment areas. Automatic weight sensors detect the user and start the selected cycle.

Step 2
Remain in Place for 6, 8, or 10 Seconds
UV-C light and ozone operate together during the selected cycle to reduce microbial contamination on both shoe soles.

Step 3
Continue After the Completion Signal
Visual and audible indicators tell the user when the cycle is complete and they can continue through the entry.
The user does not need to press a button, handle a control, step into liquid, or remove a disposable item after completing the UVZone® cycle.
UVZone® does not remove visible soil or physical debris. Footwear must meet your facility's cleaning and condition requirements before the sanitation cycle. Keep mechanical boot cleaning, scraping, washing, or other soil-removal steps where your procedure requires them.

Boot washers, brushes, scraping, and manual cleaning remove visible soil, food residue, grease, mud, and other material from footwear. UVZone® does not perform that physical cleaning function.
