Step 1

Step Onto UVZone®

Position both feet on the designated treatment areas. Automatic weight sensors detect the user and start the selected cycle.

Remain in Place for 6, 8, or 10 Seconds

UV-C light and ozone operate together during the selected cycle to reduce microbial contamination on both shoe soles.

Continue After the Completion Signal

Visual and audible indicators tell the user when the cycle is complete and they can continue through the entry.

The user does not need to press a button, handle a control, step into liquid, or remove a disposable item after completing the UVZone® cycle.

A Wet Process Requiring Chemical Control

Chemical mats and footbaths require approved chemistry, concentration control, sufficient liquid level, contact procedures, replacement schedules, cleaning, monitoring, documentation, and disposal. The site must also address organic loading, liquid tracking, and surrounding floor conditions.

Fixed Equipment With One Timed Shoe-Sole Cycle

UVZone® remains at the selected entry. Each user steps onto the station, completes the selected cycle, and continues after the completion signal. The station requires sufficient floor space, electrical power, a defined operating procedure, and planned equipment and lamp maintenance.
